Dr. Gary Pluim is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Lakehead University in Orillia, Canada. His scholarly interests include international education, youth development, promising pedagogies, and student voice in education. Gary is project lead for the Global Youth project.
Jacob Kearey-Moreland is a small-scale agroecological farmer, PhD student in Educational Studies through Lakehead University and garden-based educator in Ontario, Canada. Jacob joined the team in May, 2020 through the curriculum development phase and course facilitation for the Professionalizing Youth Work in the Pacific series of modules. Jacob currently supports the research team in various capacities including writing, data analysis and web development.
